The Tactile Group Appraised at CMMI Level 3

PHILADELPHIA, Nov 2 2021 – The Tactile Group, a 2021 Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing company, is pleased to announce that it has been appraised at CMMI® maturity level 3 for Development. The appraisal was performed by CommandTec.

The Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI)® is a proven set of global best practices that drives business performance through building and benchmarking key capabilities. It is a capability improvement framework that provides organizations with systems and processes that allow them to characterize capabilities and improve performance in key business areas.

An appraisal at maturity level 3 indicates the organization is performing at a “defined” level. At this level, processes are well characterized and understood, and they are described in standards, procedures, tools, and methods. The organization’s set of standard processes, which is the basis for maturity level 3, is established and improved over time.
