Michael A. Nutter
The Michael A. Nutter website is the central online presence for the former Mayor of Philadelphia. The site provides information on his past and current work in education, economic growth, technology, governing, leadership, politics, and public policy.
Following two successful terms as mayor of one of America's oldest and largest cities, Michael A. Nutter needed a website that would support his future professional endeavors. His goal was to build on a long career in public service by offering his expertise and consultation services for a variety of issues.
The research stage of the project included an examination of Mr. Nutter’s goals for the site, a review of the available content, and exercises to determine his visual aesthetic.
Once visual designs were approved and the content approach was determined, development in the Expression Engine content management system began.
This website features:
- The use of beautiful photography highlighting major events in Mr. Nutter’s career
- A Focus Issue section that presents speeches, interviews, panel discussions, and other commentary by dividing them into categories such as public policy and education
- A Media section that showcases recent television, radio, and podcast appearances
- A Contact form that allows the public to send requests and other messages to Mr. Nutter
- A News section that features Mr. Nutter’s latest events and announcements
