The Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia in partnership with the City created a diverse coalition of employers and organizations with the idea of working together to provide reliable information and direction to encourage, support, and promote the safe return to Philadelphia for work and play. The Tactile Group was asked to join the team and create a website that would act as a home base for the initiative.

Working with other partners of the coalition, Tactile assembled and designed a vibrant site that, along with an aggressive social media campaign, fields tens of thousands of monthly visitors and has received both local and national attention.

APPROACH

The Ready.Set.Philly! Advisory Council wanted a website that welcomed back life to the City following the coronavirus pandemic and offered key information and resources that could be easily found – and effortlessly updated. Tactile accepted the challenge and built the site using Craft CMS, a platform that combines a user-friendly interface with a completely customizable back end.

The Ready.Set.Philly! project is a unique project – one that successfully utilizes the best talents of multiple Philly agencies. Using designs from Athena Global Advisors, content from Jacobson Strategic, and videos from Chatterblast, Tactile built a beautiful and informative site that provides visitors up-to-date information on how to return to the City for work and for play safely and healthily.

Outcomes + The Future

Ready.Set.Philly! is an aggressive campaign with information that is constantly shifting as news  surrounding the pandemic and vaccinations ebb and flow. Tactile updates and maintains the site to ensure content within captures the latest news. The site’s content is updated several times a week. The featured blog “The Good” focuses on events and stories worth sharing; links to City partners and external info is available on a Resources pages; the Good News Roundup is a local-celebrity hosted vlog announcing the latest and greatest the City has to offer.

The website launched in March 2021 coinciding with the project’s announcement from Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney. The City continues their efforts to promote a safe and productive return to city life; efforts that Tactile supports and maintains.
